GAMES AND VIDEO:
Games are located in the living room bureau. there is a video player
(but no broadcast TV), CD player and FM radio
HIKING, WALKING AND POISON IVY:
Poison Ivy can sometimes be found around the mowed areas, please
be alert. If you get into it, return to the cabin and wash the
area of exposure with FELS NAPHTA SOAP AND RINSE (in the bathroom).
Remember you can transfer the sap to area of the body you may scratch
or rub! Hikers, the North Country Trail passes right by Glenking Tree
Farm!
Signs along the trail will guide you, but if you keep turning left
along the deciduous trail you will wind up at the pond and our house.
Just walk up the drive or take the steps up to the house and circle
around it and you will see the cabin. Please take the time to enjoy
yourself night or day!
THE STARS ARE FANTASTIC AT GLENKING:
Because there are no security or other outside lights at Glenking,
the stars literally jump out at you. If you are a star gazer be sure
to bring along an astral guide and telescope if you have one. The
field across from the cabin through the pine woods is mowed and is
an a excellent place to set up the 'scope.
