YOUR WEDDING...AT GLENKING!
As Glenking begins its third
year of operation, we want you to know that we have introduced a wedding
service to help you keep your wedding romantic, rustic and reasonable.
Our daughter and her husband were married in front of Glenking Cabin
in the fall of 1999 (while our retirement home was still under construction!).
So many people were pleased with their experience we decided to make
a few enhancements and see if this service will be used. Among those
enhancements is electrical service to the reception tent area.

The couple takes
time to enjoy the pond's edge near the big maple tree. Fall
is especially beautiful at Glenking - but so are the other seasons!

TERMS: If you are having a
weekend wedding, we offer the full services of the cabin for two nights
for two persons, assistance with contacting caterers, florists, etc.
and the area (see below) for the wedding and the reception tent. We
will assist you in any way we can by scheduling these services, engaging
a parking attendant and do our very best to help you coordinate the
most memorable day of your life. The cost for all this is just $400.
(Of course the cost of tent, chair rentals and flowers is yours.)
We have connections for catering,
tent and flowers to make things easy for you.

A smooth, grassy area is available through
the pine woods to locate the tent, and this area will be provided
with adequate electrical service for catering, the band, etc. And
in the event of rain, the tables can be folded up and the ceremony
held in a dry area.
Our daughter and her husband entertained
about 80 guests for her wedding and everyone could see and enjoy
the festivities. We look forward to hearing from you when your special
day comes!
